'Tis The Season to Give #LegoDuploPlay #Giveaway


As most of you already know, I am a LEGO DUPLO Play Agent.  Last month, I posted about learning through play with LEGO DUPLO.  My kids and I were sent some sets of DUPLO to play with, and I was able to watch them imagine and create an entire world, while learning about the world around them.  This month, I am so excited to bring you the chance to do the same with your kids!

As we approach the holiday season, it's so important to share the joy of giving with your children. While my kids are still quite young, my 4 year old is certainly able to grasp the concept of giving to somebody else.  I like to include her in the opportunity to give back whenever I can.  So, when it comes time to sort through her closet and her toy bin, I have her help me do the work and decide what goes where.  Some of her things are saved for her baby cousin, and others are boxed away to donate to the Diabetes Association or Salvation Army.  Sometimes she surprises me and she'll come up to me with a toy that she used to love, and tell me that somebody else should have it.  It warms my heart to see her wheels turning as she's thinking about giving her old things away to others who might need them.  And I look forward to the day when I can get my son involved in this process also.  Another thing we like to do is to donate food to the local food bank.  It's such a simple thing to pick up a few extra cans of veggies on sale, or to grab that extra box of pasta from your pantry and donate them to an organization that makes a real difference in people's daily lives.  This is something that doesn't take a lot of time, or even a lot of cash but it can really help a family in need.

    Sleeping beauty would def. be at the top of the list, my daughter loves her. I would pick the zoo for my son and the other 2 I'm not sure...I would either find someone on my list to give them to or donate them to a needy family.
