At 13 months old, my son L has accomplished many milestones - most of which I remember and some of which, to be honest, I don't. As a Mom of two kids, and a few extras (with the daycare ;) it's been a pretty hectic 13 months! L is a busybody who wants to do what the older kids do. He's my youngest, and the youngest of 5 kids including his daycare friends. So to put it mildly, my son is on the go ALL the time. Now that L is walking and climbing (like he'd have it any other way!) my husband and I have been struggling with his next big transition - when to move our little man into a big boy bed. I think I've mentioned before that my son likes to climb. I've watched him move from his Toy Story picnic table, to the couch, along to his highchair where he stood on TOP of the highchair tray! ACK! He's also succeeded at climbing our TV unit, and has attempted to climb the book shelf on more than one occasion. This kid is a thrill seeker -- and it really scares his Momma! So, like I said, the next transition we're mulling over is moving L into a big boy bed, before he has some horrible accident trying to climb from his crib. Sheesh!
Watching your little munchkins grow up so fast is part completely amazing and part stressful. You want to make the right choice for your child at the right time. So deciding things like when to begin solids, or when to switch your child from breast milk or formula to whole milk can sometimes be difficult! That's where Natrel Baboo comes in.
What is it?:
Baboo is a dairy product made with fresh milk, specially designed to ensure a smooth transition from breast milk or infant formula to regular milk for toddlers aged 12-24 months. Natrel Baboo is packed with nutrients for your growing baby, including Omega-3 DHA, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium/Vitamin D, and a lower Protein content for smooth digestion. Natrel Baboo comes packed in ready to drink individual sized tetra packs with an attached straw. It doesn't need to be refrigerated prior to opening, so it's fantastic to carry in your diaper bag on the go!
What do I love about it?:
I love the portability! My son already drinks whole milk, but often times I'll find us out running errands for longer than expected, or taking a long drive with the kids just for fun. Having Baboo in my bag is great because I can just pour it into L's cup and give it to him - I don't have to worry about carrying a sippy cup of milk around and keeping it cold. I also think it helps to keep him full a little longer than milk would. I feel good about giving him Natrel Baboo and some pieces of fruit for example to tide him over until meal time. L really enjoys his Baboo too. He's been hauling his sippy cup all over the house saying "Yummm!" and trying to share it with EVERYBODY! That's my sweet boy for ya!
