Dino Dan: Ready? Set? Dino! DVD #Review

My little girl has a thing for dinosaurs.  She loves the Land Before Time series, her dinosaur colouring book and I even let her watch a documentary about dinosaurs on Netflix once.  I figured she'd be done with it about 10 minutes in -- Not so!  She sat through the ENTIRE thing!  Ever since our visit to the Royal Tyrrell Museum she's been fascinated by them, and I think that's pretty darn cool.

When we were given the opportunity to review DINO DAN  Ready?  Set?  Dino!  I knew she would love it right away.  Actually, as soon as the DVD arrived she immediately asked nicely grabbed it from my hands and started tearing open the cellophane.  Ha!  We popped it into the DVD player and watched it together.  It's such a fun show!  I love that part of the series has been filmed at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Alberta and that the dinos are made to look so real.  The show is clever, funny, educational and lots of fun.  D is only 3 and a half years old and I was concerned that it might be too "old" for her - not that it'd be inappropriate but that it may lose her interest.  It turns out she's ready for more "big kid" shows like this now and she really is starting to enjoy them.  Over the course of the weekend we watched the whole DVD and it held her interest the entire time.
