Eco Mom Review & Giveaway

As a Mom, I am often concerned for the well being of my daughter and her future in a world where excessive amounts of chemicals and artificial materials in everyday use has become the norm. All I can do is my best to make sure that she's exposed to as little of this as possible, while she is in my care. EcoMom was founded to address the connection between the health of our environment & the health of our children. They focus on making eco-conscious living easy - and they succeed in doing so! By providing earth friendly and organic products at an affordable price, and ensuring excellent customer service, EcoMom has become a well known source for eco-conscious living.

Just Peaches Baby Food - 6/pk. $7.13

Terracycle All Purpose Cleaner - $3.99

Skip Through The Seasons Book By Stella Blackstone - $15.00

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to review the Smarty Pants Vitamins. These come in a bottle of 120 gummies - a 30 day supply. You can order one bottle at a time, have them delivered to your door monthly, or choose to purchase a multi-pack of 3 to 12 bottles. Each gummy contains:

• Multi-Vitamins,
• Omega 3 eco-friendly fish oils,
• Vitamin D,
• Choline & 12 other key nutrients.

SmartyPants Gummies only have 5g of Organic cane sugar per serving (that is 80% LESS sugar than in a glass of unsweetened apple juice). SmartyPants are made with only natural colors and flavors and no High Fructose Corn Syrup. They are also gluten- and casein-free. They never use any fake or artificial flavors, sweeteners, or dyes that are bad for your kids! Their Omega 3 DHA and EPA fish oil comes from eco-friendly sustainable small fish sources. No unsustainable tuna or contaminated fish! *from EcoMom Website
These vitamins are just what the doctor ordered! D is not a big fan of vegetables or meat, so I'm always worried that she's not getting the nutrients required for optimum health. I know... she's 2, but a Mom never stops worrying, right? At first, when I tried to give her one of these, she backed away. (Always true to her fussy self.) Later, I approached her with them and told her they were medicine that would help her grow big and strong, and that they taste like candy. (Slightly ashamed to admit this.) She took one, then ran and hid behind the couch and gobbled it down. Guess she didn't want me to know what she was sneaking! Little did she know how pleased I was to witness her taking her vitamins, knowing how good it is for her to be getting the extra Vitamin D, especially with winter coming along so soon. I tried one myself, and they are very soft, sweet and yummy - everything appealing to the youngsters. Children 3+ should be getting 4 of these per day to get maximum benefits. I used my own judgement in giving these to D, as I know she has all of her teeth and always chews properly. Make sure you supervise, if you're going to be giving these to young children as they are recommended for aged 3+.
